Three-position key switch for International and Case utility tractors from the 1970s and early 1980s — the 54-, 57-, 58-, 68-, 78-, and 88-series machines, along with 2300 and 2500 industrial frames. 12-volt, 6 terminals, two keys included. Positions are off, run, and start — no accessory position, consistent with the original IH spec for these frames. Terminal count matters when sourcing a replacement; a 5- or 4-terminal unit from a later machine will not wire in correctly. The original switches develop internal contact wear that shows up as intermittent no-start conditions or loss of accessories at certain key positions before the switch fails completely.
